innogy IT Cyber Security Architecture & Solutions (CSAS) keeps innogy’s digital customer-facing products and internal IT safe and secure.
CSAS translates our information security policies into technical controls and helps our product and project teams to embed security into architecture, design and delivery processes. It provides the foundational cyber security platforms and solutions, and works with our teams to integrate our applications and infrastructure with these solutions.

Cyber Security Architect - Senior Specialist

Start Day:

  • as soon as possible

Your tasks:

  • You create and develop innogy’s cyber security reference architecture, including cyber security platforms and solutions, aligning requirements from the architecture teams, IT Security Operation Center and Group Security colleagues
  • Partially embedded with a specific business segment (Grid or Retail), you drive implementation of key building blocks of the reference architecture in projects and programs
  • Working with Group Security and IT colleagues, you translate information security policies into a technical control framework and architectural blueprints, and communicate these to the IT delivery teams (devops)
  • Leading us to security-by-design, you work with projects starting from inception stages to embed security principles into the target architecture
  • As a trusted advisor, you act as the security go-to-person on the relevant IT architecture bodies
  • Develop Cyber Security standards and help facilitate improvements based on IT strategy, project feedback and other sources
  • Working closely with IT colleagues, you perform reviews of existing architectures and assess the security maturity and compliance levels, with the goal of jointly identifying potential short- and long-term improvements
  • Establish a deep understanding of business targets and processes and how innogy IT and Cyber Security contribute to these targets

Your profile:

  • Hold a university degree in (business-) Information Technology or Computer Sciences
  • A minimum five years of experience in Technical or Solution Architecture with emphasis on IT Security
  • Proven knowledge of international standards as well as additional qualifications or certifications, e.g. CISSP; SABSA; CSSA; TOGAF or equivalents
  • Other expert qualifications welcome, e.g. MDM, IPS/IDS, SIEM, Cloud Technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Security trends (threats, vulnerabilities, technological solutions, best practice processes and methods) and IT/Cyber Security technology & tools
  • Experience of Cloud (Security) best practice desirable, e.g. AWS or Azure
  • Business acumen and understanding of business drivers and solution risk profiles
  • First-hand experience of working with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) welcome
  • Business level proficiency in both Czech and English with the ability to negotiate or present in both languages
  • Flexibility and work in international environment
