Your tasks:

Security at innogy ČR is responsible among others for data protection/privacy compliant handling and processing of personal data within all companies of innogy ČR group. In addition, Senior Specialist, Data protection advises and supports, within a key-account-responsibility, in all data protection/privacy-related questions for all companies of innogy ČR group. He/she is working in close alignment with Group Data Protection steering Group in Essen.

In this context, your tasks will be, amongst others:

  • Involvement in implementing the future European General Data Protection Regulation
  • Consultancy on fundamental data protection questions and complex individual case decisions in data protection and other relevant laws (e.g. telecommunications and telemedia law) and preparation of data protection statements, recommendations and concepts
  • Work towards assurance of compliance with the notification, information and reporting requirements in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Support the processing of complaints and requests for information as well as drafting statements to public authorities and coordination of consultation with the supervisory authorities
  • Involvement in the evaluation and monitoring of the technical and organizational measures (in accordance with § 6 the Czech Data protection Law)
  • Support in drawing up contracts with external business partners as well as employment contracts
  • Coordination and execution of data protection audits

What we expect:

For this challenging task, you should fulfil the following requirements:

  • University degree preferably in the areas of law, economics, IT or a corresponding professional experience in a duty holder function
  • Good knowledge and understanding of data protection/privacy law (national/international) and further adjacent legal provisions
  • Experience in the basic processes and IT systems/applications of the energy industry
  • Basic knowledge of data security and interest in technical developments
  • Analytic intellectual power and methodologically structured approach
  • Used to working independently, flexible and with high social and intercultural competency
  • Strong communicative, coordinative and planning skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills; Czech and English (both business fluent in spoken and written
  • Strong team orientation and positive and confident manner
  • You are open to new developments and trends and see them as challenges
